Freedom Riders Academy began about 5 years ago. We have been a not for profit with the state of Florida since 2013. Currently, we are a pending 501 (c) (3) with the United States government as a recognized charitable organization. When we began this charity, we set out to rescue neglected and abused horses. Little did we know what impact those horses would have on not only us and our children, but the children within our community too.
